Ownerpack pricing options

The following pricing options are available to Ownerpack clients who purchase a home information pack (HIP) from an Ownerpack authorised agent. There are four HIP options available:

Ownerpack Standard Freehold HIP – this contains the legal minimum of Index, Energy Performance Certificate, Sales Statement, Land Registry Register Entry, Title Plan, Local Authority Searches and water/drainage enquiries. It will be supplied in hard copy (1 copy – wire bound) and will also be available as a downloaded PDF. A CD-ROM copy will not be supplied.

Ownerpack Freehold HIP PLUS – this will contain all of the above information, PLUS a Chancel Check report, Environmental Report, and Neighbourhood, Planning and Local Amenities Report. The pack will come in a high quality plastic binder (1 copy) and will include a CD-ROM copy of the HIP.

Ownerpack Leasehold Standard HIP – this will contain the same information as the Standard Freehold HIP together with a copy of the lease and plan.

Ownerpack Leasehold HIP Plus – this will contain the same information as the Freehold HIP Plus together with a copy of the lease and plan.

1. Freehold Registered Title

Freehold HIP PLUS £446.50 * Incl. VAT (£380 + £66.50 VAT)

2. Freehold Unregistered Title

An additional charge of £100 + VAT will apply to cover the cost of legal work involved in researching the Title. This will be payable to the Ownerpack law firm instructed by Ownerpack to carry out the research. Should the client subsequently instruct the Ownerpack law firm to sell the property, the client will receive £100 credited towards the cost of the sales transaction. Deferred payment terms are not available for this research fee.

3. Leasehold properties

3.a Registered Leasehold HIP £335* Incl. VAT (£285.11 + £49.89 VAT)

Registered Leasehold HIP PLUS* £491.50 Incl. VAT (£418.30 + £73.20 VAT)

3.b Unregistered Leasehold HIP £335* Incl. VAT (£285.11 + £49.89 VAT)

Unregistered Leasehold HIP PLUS* £491.50 Incl. VAT (£418.30 + £73.20 VAT)

An additional charge of £100 + VAT will apply to cover the cost of legal work involved in researching the unregistered lease information. This will be payable to the Ownerpack law firm instructed by Ownerpack to carry out the research. Should the client subsequently instruct the Ownerpack law firm to sell the property, the client will receive £100 credited towards the cost of the sales transaction. Deferred payment terms are not available for this research fee.

Note: Compulsory registration for all Leases came into effect in 1986 in the Braintree District. It is therefore likely that a Lease taken out after 1986 will be registered.

Future Price Reviews

The above prices may be reviewed from time to time and any changes will be notified to Ownerpack authorised agents and displayed on the Ownerpack web site (www.ownerpack.co.uk)

*If deferred credit card payment option is requested in conjunction with these HIP packages an additional charge of £45 incl. VAT will also apply. Deferred payment options are not available in respect of the legal research necessary for Unregistered Freehold or Unregistered Leasehold properties.
