Revision to HIP costs

A revised charging structure for Ownerpack HIPs has been introduced to reflect the recent increase in search costs.
The CLG (Communities and Local Government office) recently decided to allow local authorities to set their own charges for access to information that private search companies use to create searches for inclusion in Home Information Packs and for conveyancing. In consequence, such charges have generally risen and this has had to be reflected in the overall cost of an individual HIP. There are several different charges according to the source and the information needed but, rather than leave this element to be defined at the time, it has been decided to standardise a single charge for all HIPs.
Prices for Ownerpack HIPs have increased from June 15th by £37.00. New prices are given below.
Freehold HIP with EPC £301.50 including VAT
Leasehold HIP with EPC £353.25 including VAT
Freehold HIP without EPC £244.00 including VAT
Leasehold HIP without EPC £295.75 including VAT
Deferred Freehold HIP with EPC £359.00 including VAT
Deferred Leasehold HIP with EPC £410.75 including VAT
Deferred Freehold HIP without EPC £301.50 including VAT
Residential EPC £50.00 (no VAT)
Commercial EPC including Floor Plan From £250.00 (no VAT)
Floor Plan with Residential EPC (non HIP) £75.00 (no VAT)
Floor Plan on its own £50.00 (no VAT)
